What happens to your games when you cancel a game subscription?
You keep games you bought, plus your saves and achievements, when you cancel a game subscription. Catalog and monthly games are different: they lock the moment the subscription ends, even if they are still installed.
This guide shows what sits on each shelf of your account, with a month-by-month toggle so you can cancel and see what happens. Then it covers leaving-soon discounts and a simple rent-or-buy rule.
